Based in our Delrin facility in Dordrecht, you will be part of our local Engineering Team. This Engineering Organization is responsible for Capital Projects in the range of $10-15 million per year. The primary role is to provide EI Design and supervision of detailed design and scope of the other parties involved in capital projects, including EPCM contractors, equipment vendors, construction contractors and Plant Engineering Teams. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform conceptual, FEED, and detailed EI design (or supervise detailed design by others) as per design basis, project specifications, design codes and standards. /li liWork closely with plant operations and maintenance to include their input in the front‑end loading process. /li liReview, monitor, and ensure compliance requirements are met for DuPont, European and local codes and standards (IEC/EN/VDE). /li liCreate Electrical and instrument specifications, or review and approve these deliverables when created or designed by others. /li liReview technical quotations, evaluations and queries, compile bid tabulations and recommendations, and coordinate with Procurement to expedite vendor documents as required. /li liAct as EI Discipline point of contact in communications and meetings with Plant Teams. /li liParticipate in all key design, operability, and maintainability reviews (Design Reviews, Hazop, Model Reviews, etc.) and ensure timely close out of all review action items related to mechanical engineering. /li liSpecify and coordinate FATs and SATs for EI equipment. /li liParticipate in LOPA, PHA, PID and Model Reviews. /li liATEX Area Classification. /li liInstrumentation consulting responsibilities include: valve design; pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters; machine safety/Safety Instrumented Systems and their use in PHA and LOPAs; DCS (Distributed Control Systems); PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers); burner management systems and their use in PHA and LOPAs; alarm management and its use in PHA and LOPAs. /li liIdentify changes to scope and promptly raise change notifications, including providing any necessary supporting documentation and estimates. /li liMaintain close coordination with other engineering disciplines and construction teams, as required. /li liEnsure that the HSE, Engineering, Operations Maintenance aspects of the Project requirements are reflected in the Detailed Design specifications. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster of Science in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. /li liProficient in Dutch and English. /li liSeveral relevant project work experiences in the industry, including experience in Project EI Engineering. /li liGood communication skills and multi‑tasking ability. /li liKnowledge of norms, guidelines, and standards (ATEX Directive, IEC/EN/VDE). /li /ul h3We Offer /h3 ul liA challenging position in an entrepreneurial, independent company with large growth goals. /li liAn opportunity to be part of the team developing a new business model to lead the company into the future, with a strong emphasis on growing the brand. /li liA competitive remuneration package, including generous benefits. /li /ul pDelrin is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
