Overview
In this role, you provide technical leadership for Electrical & Instrumentation across capital projects, guiding direction and ensuring compliance and safety. You bridge production, project management, maintenance, and external partners to deliver robust deliverables. You influence design choices without performing detailed drafting, and you support installation, commissioning, and start-up of new systems. This position offers a chance to shape industrial projects within Chemours’ safety- and sustainability-focused culture.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Translate plant E&I needs into technical requirements for partners (e.g., Fluor)
- Review designs, specifications, calculations, and proposals without producing drawings
- Advise across project phases from business case to funding
- Ensure compliance with Chemours standards and codes (NEC, IEEE, NFPA)
- Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of new systems
- Contribute to maintenance projects and turnarounds with an E&I scope
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance to prioritize upgrades
- Communicate effectively across all levels from operators to lead engineers
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control
- At least 3 years of senior-level experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, instrumentation, and automation
- Ability to critically review technical designs and challenge decisions constructively
- Strong communication skills; able to influence without formal authority
