OrganisationThese positions are available with Fokker Services Group, GKN Fokker Aerostructures, and Fokker Techniek – all based in the Netherlands FunctionHere’s a brief overview of the open positions:AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE TECHNICIAN – F35 Fighter JetAs an experienced Aircraft Structure Technician, you will carry out inspections, modifications, and repairs on the F-35 fighter jet. Your workplace? One of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) bases in Volkel or Leeuwarden, both located in the Netherlands. You’ll work with both metallic and composite substructures, using aircraft manuals and blueprints to ensure top-quality results.SHEET METAL WORKER – CivilIn this role, you’ll perform a wide range of sheet metal work on civil aircraft – from new builds (VIP, SMA) to repairs. Tasks include inspecting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft structures. You’ll also document any deviations, manage tools and machines, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and safety. Your work is crucial to ensure the aircraft remain safe and operational.AIRCRAFT FITTER – AssemblyAs an Aircraft Fitter/Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll be working on the structural foundation of aircraft – assembling critical parts like wings, fuselages, engine nacelles, floors, doors, spars, and beams.
