Part-time Finance & Accounting Administrator | Dutch & English

Job description
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounting Administrator to support the daily financial operations of our this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, overseeing tax filings, processing payments, and contributing to financial reporting and budgeting activities. You will also coordinate with external payroll providers and prepare internal financial reports to support strategic decision-making at the head office.
Finance Operations
Oversee accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding customer payments
Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and payments
Process prepayments and incoming bank transactions
Handle monthly SEPA payroll payments
Calculate and book sales commissions
Record monthly depreciation, recurring journal entries, and various operational costs
Monitor and reconcile interim accounts on a regular basis
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and submit monthly ICT listings and CBS reports
Complete and file quarterly VAT returns, including internal checks and reconciliation
Compile and submit various monthly financial reports to the head office
Support monthly closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting
Assist in preparing the annual budget for head office review
Operational Controls
Perform monthly inventory checks, including shelf-life monitoring of stock
Confirm payroll data with the payroll service provider to ensure accurate payslip generation
Please note that this is a part-time position for 20 hours per week!
Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting practices
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Familiar with VAT filings, ICT declarations, CBS reporting, and SEPA payment processes
Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
Well-developed organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines independently
Effective communication skills, particularly in working with head office teams and external partners
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role
Educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field (qualification preferred)
Experience with payroll coordination and international reporting is an advantage
Please note that this is a part-time position for 20 hours per week!
Working conditions
A salary between €2.700 – €2.900 per month based on full-time employment (This is a part-time position of 20 hour per week)
A Direct contract with your client
8.3% holiday pay
